We love the beach. We love Cannon Beach. We love it so much Alex and I went there for our honeymoon, and frequently return now that we’re back in Oregon. Especially now that Jasper can enjoy the scenery, sounds, and beauty of it all. Notice, I omit “weather,” because, well, we are in Oregon, afterall.
Despite the fact that the weather there more frequently resembles a tropical rainstorm than the kind of stuff summer is made of, the clouds and sun surprised us on our last visit. We could actually bare to take off our windbreakers, take off our socks and boots, roll up our pants, and wade in the water. It was pure craziness. And a bit of bliss.
Touching squishy things.
I didn’t even realize at the moment that there were two circles around the sun. Have you ever seen this before?
Proof that I was there, in all my wind-blown glory.
Jasper, meet Sand-Drawing Jasper.
So far our trips this spring have all come to an end with Jasper in some form of child’s pose. I guess that makes sense. :)
