This short video isn’t just about making yourself feel better about yourself. It’s a simple, humble, spot-on reminder of many of those things I’m sure most of us try to remember every moment, every day, but often just forget.

This is the best. I want to make my kids make these one day. Brilliant. I love six-year-old minds.

Yet another video! My time while in summer courses seems to allow me just the opportunity to share and comment on life in the form of other people’s digital masterpieces. At least this one here is taken by my own hand, though the masterpiece is all Jasper’s own making.

There’s something totally amazing and awe-inspiring about watching the emotion on the faces, and in the bodies of those who are in the thick of creating music with their bare hands - it is joy, and enthusiasm, and love incarnate.

Well, if not for revealing the sort-of hidden agendas of big corporations/advertising agencies, calling out the false realities impressed upon women and men alike, and the disparity in what those realities say, what should we use social media for?

Love Songs for His Little One
Now if only I had the talent to create honest, deeply heart-felt, upbeat, joyful, sweet, sweet, sweet songs on the ukelele for my little man.
Since I don’t (there’s only a small amount of envy there!), I’m relying on the mind-bending skills of one Mr. Devon Gundry, musician extraordinaire. The object of his heart, his little son Phoenix, or Phix as he’s endearingly called.
Now I’m looking out for a full album.

Track 2

Murmuration
Undulating, dancing, mechanical rain.
This rain installation is like a man-made version of a murmuration of starlings!
Can you imagine being there in person for such an event!?

You know how in that movie “Love Actually” (if you’ve seen it) the opening scenes are all about the simple moments of love witnessed at the Heathrow airport, as an example of course. The narrator talks about how there are so many devastating, terrifying and apathetic things happening around us, or at the very east sensationalized into reality by media. He suggests that in fact if you actually take a close look, “love is all around.”
With a slightly more capitalistic motivation, Coca-Cola has kind of redone these opening scenes using sweet, endearing and often times hilarious captured moments from security cameras world round. If you can overlook the big-business influences, this is just a really sweet video.
